Sweet Heart Sweet Light

Sweet Heart Sweet Light is the upcoming, seventh studio album by Spiritualized. It is planned for release in March 2012, on Double Six Records. The band has already played some of the new material live. During this time it has been reported that they spent two years recording the album, in three different cities and frontman Jason Pierce spent another year mixing it at home.^[1] He revealed in an interview that the album he will "embrace" more poppy songs. Jason Pirece also stated that the album is partly inspired by the experiences of performing "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space" live in its entirety.^[2]
